Anna Barbee

Horn

Dr. Anna Barbee is an active horn player in the Tacoma/Seattle area. She has played with a variety of orchestras including Tacoma Symphony, Olympia Symphony, Anchorage Symphony and Phoenix Symphony. She is also a founding member of Winds5, a Seattle based woodwind quintet, that regularly performs and tours around Western Washington. Dr. Barbee received her doctorate in horn performance from the University of Washington and is a current professor at Tacoma Community College. She is also the orchestra manager for the Olympia Symphony Orchestra. Outside of music she dedicates her time to being a loving mother, exploring the outdoors, and gluing moss craft projects.
