Li-Ling Liao

Violin

Taiwanese-Canadian violinist Li-Ling Liao studied at the Lucerne Conservatory in Switzerland with Daniel Dodds, the Boston Conservatory with Lynn Chang, and the New England Conservatory under James Buswell IV and the legendary pedagogue Eric Rosenblith. She completed her violin studies with a Doctoral degree from the University of Maryland under the tutelage of Dr. James Stern.  Li-Ling is the education specialist at Symphony Tacoma, and a member of the violin section.  She performs frequently with the Vancouver Symphony (B.C.) , Vashon Opera Orchestra, Tacoma City Ballet Orchestra, Auburn Symphony, Northwest Sinfonietta and many other ensembles in the greater Seattle area.
